Team Training Puppy Raiser Picnic ~ Day 12

One of the days that puppy raisers look forward to all year is the Puppy Raiser's Picnic. This is the first opportunity for most puppy raisers to meet the FURever family of the pup they raised. It's a day to relax, reflect and forge new friendships.

Puppy raisers are presented with a pillow with their pups name embroidered on it. A coordinating blanket goes home with the FURever family. This year, not only were there blankets and pillows, but dog beds lovingly made and donated by a Girl Scout troop as well.

A much needed dog wash concluded the day and readied the dogs for the big day tomorrow.
