Today was the very first day of a very exiting and big adventure: Team Training. By the end of this journey families will have learned how to handle, and been placed with their very own Canine Angel.

 

The morning started with a continental breakfast and introductions, and then after the "Welcome to Team Training" spiel from Sandy and Sheila, the games had begun.
 

The day consisted of using basic commands with different dogs to get a "feel" for different energy levels and personalities. The difference between a low energy dog in comparison to a high energy was quickly apparent. The favorite part of the day was of course, handling the dogs.

A delicious and nutritious lunch was provided by The Pita Pit and Bob Lieberman ~ CEO of Kairos, both of Grants Pass.

We want to especially thank Parkway Christian Center for generously allowing us, once again, to use their facility for team training.
